Responsibilities
- Provide on‑going field support and focus on growing market awareness for TAVI and related disease states, including launching new products.
- Work closely with the sales team and be responsible for aspects of US strategy implementation, including digital strategy and channel execution.
- Measure success against sales and margin expectations, sales force competency/knowledge level, and development of marketing programs.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of US competitor products and strategies, market trends and dynamics, market/franchise critical success factors, and customer needs.
- Contribute to annual marketing plans and strategies, including market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT situation assessment.
- Manage field device demo needs, track sales and patient resource utilization, and work with the communications manager to manage promotional collateral.
- Take a leadership role on project teams to work closely with the project manager to drive accountability and team achievement of goals and milestones.
- Manage creative agencies to plan, develop, and execute new US materials.
- Partner with regulatory colleagues in the review and negotiation of materials to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Drive delivery of sales, margin, and key performance metrics for TAVR products.
- Be responsive and able to directly address questions and requests of senior management.
Requirements
- Prior marketing experience within the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of related marketing or product management experience, preferably in TAVI/TAVR.
- MBA with 4+ years of related experience also considered.
- Relevant downstream marketing experience.
- Ability to travel 30% of the time.
- Ability to understand technical and scientific information.
- Ability to handle a fast‑paced working environment.
- Substantial financial skills, market analysis, and advanced communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills as well as written and oral communication skills.
