An established manufacturer within the medical devices sector is seeking a commercially minded Product Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of highly customised medical devices.
Working closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Clinical Affairs and Operations, you'll lead the full product lifecycle - from identifying unmet customer needs through to product launch, portfolio optimisation and long-term strategy. This is an opportunity to influence products that make a meaningful difference to people's independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of medical device solutions
- Lead Voice of Customer activities with clinicians, dealers and end users
- Define product requirements and support new product development
- Conduct market and competitive analysis
- Develop business cases and commercial strategies
- Manage product launches and lifecycle activities
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Regulatory and Marketing
- Support pricing, forecasting and portfolio decisions
We're interested in speaking with people who have:
- Product Management experience within medical devices
- Full product lifecycle ownership
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Experience translating customer needs into successful products
- Ability to work cross-functionally across technical and commercial teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience within orthopaedics, prosthetics, mobility, rehabilitation or other highly configurable medical devices would be particularly attractive.
