JOB MISSION:
As a Senior product Manager, you will be expected to meet the consumer at the intersection of sport and culture. In this role you will create a consumer‑lead product range for New Balance Tennis Apparel for Men’s and Women’s, with a sharp focus on CG / Delray collection and Tournament collection includes AO (Australian Open) assortment growing. You will connect to a wide range of cross‑functional New Balance Tennis teams and be part of a group that values partnership across the organization.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop and execute a product range that honors the New Balance brand, attracts, excites and connects consumers across the globe while achieving key sales and margin targets.
- Monitor and leverage Tennis business insights across the sport and sport’s culture to build a compelling Tennis product range across multiple price tiers for our target consumer.
- Work closely with product creation teams, marketing and the global merchandising teams to collaborate and bring stories to life across the globe.
- Have a clear strategy of product lifecycle to launch newness into the market while bringing freshness to existing styles, strengthening and recognizing key item franchises.
- Create and execute a 3‑year product launch and franchise strategy for Tennis and CG signature and AO apparel lines for targeted regions.
- Partner with Tennis footwear / Accessories counterparts to create credible outfitting by activity and use case that generates interest, energy and solidifies premium authenticity in the space.
- Communicate goals, expectations, strategies and responsibilities surrounding the product to the appropriate teams, direct reports and senior management.
- Deliver presentations to regional partners, athlete partners and customers.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8‑10 years of experience in product management, merchandising or buying within the apparel industry.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong merchandising and presentation skills.
- Proficient in creating briefing tools and templates with PowerPoint or Keynote. Excellent in Excel (Pivot tables, V‑look ups, formulas).
- Strong strategy‑building skills that will help shape the future.
- Time‑management skills and ability to prioritize and pivot when needed.
- Understanding of global segmentation needs across the omni‑channel marketplace.
- Consumer‑obsessed with a problem‑solving mindset.
- Domestic travel required, international travel possible.
Boston, MA Headquarters – (NB) Only Pay Range: $122,100.00 – $157,500.00 – $192,900.00 Annual (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)

Flexible Work Schedule

New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year.
