About This Role
Our team is looking for a Marketing Technology (MarTech) expert who is passionate about both organic and paid marketing. The mission of the MarTech team is to provide Audible marketing and creative teams with tools and systems that allow them to efficiently and effectively orchestrate and activate a dialogue with all prospects and customers. The Senior Product Manager – MarTech Products will represent the voice of the customer, partner with Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing to define a customer‑obsessed product roadmap, and empower the organization to harness the power of data to deliver the right message at the right time.
This role will work out of Audible HQ in Newark, NJ, USA, with the possibility to work from New York City’s offices two days a week.
Responsibilities
- Build the strategy and roadmap for marketing technology across paid or lifecycle marketing, while directing day‑to‑day execution toward that vision.
- Work directly with engineering, analytics, and marketing teams to build product solutions and integrate with first‑party and third‑party tools.
- Evangelize use of marketing technology within Audible, providing clear documentation and training to our internal users on the products we build and support.
- Continually monitor marketing technology tools and trends to ensure Audible is delivering high‑quality messages to our customers.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience leading the delivery of marketing, advertising, or data products.
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with end‑to‑end product delivery.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
- Experience managing technical products or online services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in marketing and advertising technology products and systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in data technology products and systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical individuals.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, autonomously, and cross‑functionally.
- Ability to easily transition from high‑level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
- Experience representing and advocating for customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning.
- Expertise in managing multidisciplinary and cross‑functional initiatives.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is 166,300 USD to 225,000 USD annually.
