Senior Product Manager, CatalogAs a Senior Product Manager at DataHub, you will work cross-functionally to help guide products from ideation to launch by connecting the technical needs of users and the business needs of our company. You will help define the vision, goals, and strategy we pursue in concert with engineers, designers, sales, and partners that move the practice of analytics engineering forward. We are pursuing an ambitious AI strategy, focused on building a unified Context Platform that solves context fragmentation, maintenance, validation, and accessibility challenges.In this role, you can expect to:Define the vision, goals, strategy, tactics, and roadmap for our suite of productsStudy, research, and understand the data ecosystem, with a specific focus on user requirements, market potential, and competitive landscapeServe as the accountable owner for delivering measurable business and customer outcomes; working closely with designers to create intuitive, elegant user experiences for technical and non-technical personasCreate tight feedback loops with customers who are depending on DataHub to run their data environments so that the product evolves toward the needs of these stakeholdersTranslate ambiguous user problems into well-scoped product initiatives with clear definitions of successExecute cross-functionally to launch new product experiences, improve existing features, test effectiveness of workflows, and facilitate GTM motionsInspire teams of people to achieve great things together, while also tying the roadmap within a domain to broader product strategy goals and company goalsYou are a good fit if you have:4+ years of experience in product management or related functionPrevious experience working on Products with PLG or self-serve growth motionDeeply quantitative and enjoy rolling up your sleeves and exploring the data and connecting it to strategic initiativesExperience in the data space, using or building data toolsExcellent written and verbal communicatorYou'll have an edge if you have:Previous experience working with the modern data stack (Fivetran, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Spark, dbt, Looker, PowerBI, etc)Previous experience working with data catalogs (Collibra, Alation) and metadata systemsComfortable discussing, explaining and reasoning about data catalog best practices and expansion opportunitiesBenefits and PerksWe invest in people so they can do their best work and enjoy doing it.
