We'd love to have you as a shareholder!Your Next Opportunity:The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for planning, forecasting, logistics, purchasing, and releasing of commodity construction materials, electrical equipment, lighting, and supplies as assigned.

The Senior Procurement Specialist provides leadership, training, and management as assigned.What You'll Do:Prepares and distributes complex and technical bid invitations or requests for proposal including logistics, warehousing, kitting, and cutting and packaging requirements as required; receives, analyzes, and recommends approval of bids most advantageous to Rosendin.Processes difficult and unique purchasing transactions according to state laws, federal statutes, policies, and procedures established by Rosendin.Assists departments with specification development, drafts RFP.Reviews, analyzes and approves all purchases where award is not made to the low bidder to ensure justification exists and policy is followed. Reviews, analyzes, researches and approves purchases of a non-competitive nature.Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of deficiency and take corrective action.Plan all aspects of purchasing from project award to closeout.Company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers and professional service providers.Oversee execution of the purchasing buy?out.Maintenance of records of goods ordered and received.With estimating management, design professionals and site management.Feedback to assist in analyzing market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.Enforce procurement policies and procedures to project team.For projections, financial planning, expediting, delivery schedules and project purchasing reporting.Development and review of all procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.Be able to provide supervision to buyer / expeditor when necessary.Duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the position's role within the business unit.What You'll Need To Be Successful:Thorough knowledge of electrical equipment and construction materialsWorking knowledge of procurement techniques, procedures, policies and accountingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; Must exhibit supervisory skillsWork independently with minimum supervisionProficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); OraclePrioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessaryWork under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitudeOral and written communication skills as required for the positionSelf?motivated, proactive and an effective team playerInteract effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and othersWhat You Bring To Us:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management of related disciplineMinimum 5 years electrical construction purchasing experienceCombination of education, training and relevant experienceTravel:Up to %Working Conditions:General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
