We are seeking a high-calibre Senior Process Engineer to join our core engineering team at our headquarters in Kingwood (North Houston), TX, with flexible hybrid or remote working arrangements for highly accomplished professionals.
Responsibilities
- Architect Advanced System Designs: Lead the end-to-end conceptual and detailed design of full-scale treatment infrastructure. Generate complex process calculations, mass balances, PFDs, and P&IDs, collaborating with the wider engineering team to deliver optimized, value-engineered solutions that meet client expectations.
- Drive Applied R&D & Innovation: Formulate strategic testing frameworks, lead bench- and pilot-scale evaluations, and interpret data to validate designs and accelerate the commercialization of proprietary technologies.
- Spearhead Field Deployment & Commissioning: Transition from theory to execution by directing on-site system startups, establishing rigorous operational sampling protocols, and delivering expert-level technical training to client engineering and operations teams across the region.
- Deliver Strategic Financial Governance: Partner with the executive leadership team to evaluate capital equipment budgets, conduct value engineering assessments, and vet the commercial and financial feasibility of emerging water treatment technologies.
- Optimize Live Industrial Assets: Serve as the definitive technical authority on troubleshooting; analyze real-time operational metrics and field data to diagnose complex system anomalies and maximize efficiency of live facilities.
Qualifications
- Academic Foundation: A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical, Environmental, or Process engineering, with a strong foundation in water systems.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in the conceptual design, operational optimization, or commissioning of complex industrial water and/or wastewater treatment processes.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Excellent autonomy and communication skills, with a proven ability to interface as a technical authority with clients, project managers, and executive teams.
- Mobility & Deployment: Willingness to travel up to 25% across North America to oversee deployments, commissioning phases, and field operations.
