Title: Senior Process Engineer

Location: Lebanon, IN / Remote (must be onsite at least 1 week per month)

Compensation: $70–$100/hr, depending on experience and education

Must Haves

• 5+ years of process engineering experience; 15–20+ years preferred for senior-level candidates
• Bulk API, bulk chemical, or comparable process manufacturing experience
• Hands-on Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q/CQV) experience
• Experience with large-scale process equipment and manufacturing systems
• Process Safety Management (PSM) experience
• Experience supporting construction, commissioning, qualification, startup, and operational handoff
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills during startup

Pluses

• Peptide/API manufacturing experience
• Chemical synthesis reactors, tanks, agitators, pumps, filtration, chromatography, or dryers
• Agitated filter dryer experience is highly preferred
• PSSR and startup readiness experience
• Greenfield or brownfield facility startup experience

Job Description

The Process Engineer will support the startup of a major new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility currently under construction in Lebanon, IN. This is an opportunity to support a high-visibility, large-scale manufacturing expansion within an advanced bulk peptide/API environment.

The team will help take the facility from construction through commissioning, qualification, startup, and operational readiness, giving engineers the opportunity to have a direct impact on bringing a next-generation manufacturing site into operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support facility startup through commissioning, qualification, and operational handoff
• Review designs, equipment specifications, commissioning plans, and qualification documentation
• Develop and review C&Q protocols
• Perform field walk-downs and identify equipment, construction, or design issues
• Support commissioning and qualification of large-scale process equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues during startup
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Automation, Construction, C&Q, vendors, and project teams
• Help transition completed systems into manufacturing operations

Compensation

$70 to $100

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
