Senior Process Engineer

Location: Milpitas, California

Join Teledyne e2v HiRel Electronics and help develop the manufacturing processes behind high-reliability microelectronic products. You will play a key role in taking advanced packaging and assembly processes from concept and evaluation through production qualification, while partnering with manufacturing teams, suppliers, customers, operators, and management.

What you'll do

• Develop,implement,scale,andmaintainmicroelectronicpackagingandassemblyprocesses.

• Establishprocesscontrolsandevaluatenewmaterialsandautomatedequipment.

• Supportmaterialreviewboardactivitiesandresolvenonconformingproductissues.

• Partnerwithsuppliersandcustomerstoaddressmaterialandproductionconcerns.

• Contributetodesignreviews,programreadiness,designformanufacturability,andnewproductdevelopment.

• Designanddocumentprecisiontooling,fixtures,billsofmaterials,andassemblydrawings.

• Program,troubleshoot,andqualifymanufacturingequipment.

• Createclearprocessdocumentationandstep-by-stepproductioninstructions.

• Applystatisticalanalysis,processcontrol,problem-solving,anddesignofexperiments.

• Communicatecomplextechnicaltopicseffectivelyacrosstechnicalandoperationalaudiences.

What you need

• Processdevelopment,scale-up,andmanufacturingproblem-solvingskills-Required

• Dieattach,wirebonding,flipchip,underfill,encapsulation,hermeticsealing,andpackagingexperience-Required

• Knowledgeofelectronicmaterials,equipmentqualification,statisticalanalysis,andprocesscontrol-Required

• Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills-Required

• Bachelor'sorMaster'sdegreeinEngineering,MaterialsScience,orarelatedfield-Required

• 8+yearsofexperiencedevelopingmicroelectronicassemblyprocesses-Required

• Hands-onequipmentprogrammingandtroubleshootingexperience-Preferred

• KnowledgeofMIL-PRF-38535-Preferred

Salary Range:

$90,800.00-$121,100.000
