Senior Process ChemistWe are seeking a hands-on Senior Process Chemist / Process Chemist to support large-scale chemical manufacturing operations in a production environment. This role focuses on process optimization, troubleshooting live production issues, manufacturing support, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong plant-floor experience and a practical approach to solving real-time operational challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport large-scale chemical processing and manufacturing operations.Troubleshoot production, process, and quality issues in real time.Work directly with operators, maintenance teams, quality personnel, and leadership.Monitor and optimize reaction systems, processing operations, and manufacturing performance.Provide technical expertise related to manufacturing processes and quality control.Participate in customer-facing technical discussions when needed.Serve as a key technical resource and future plant subject matter expert.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, process chemistry, plant operations, or chemical processing.Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Experience troubleshooting active production processes.Experience with pumps, valves, reaction vessels, tanks, load cells, and reaction systems.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to react quickly to production challenges.Ability to work cross-functionally with operators, maintenance personnel, and leadership teams.Preferred Industry ExperienceIndustrial chemicals.Specialty chemicals.Petrochemical processing.Lubricants, oils, and additives.Chemical intermediates manufacturing.Batch chemical manufacturing.Preferred Technical ExperienceAcid-base reactions.Ammonia chemistry.Blending and formulation environments.Compensation$85,000 – $105,000 base salary.Incentive eligible position.Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
