Systems EngineerThis position is located in Fulton, MD and does require some travel to customer sites as needed.What You Will DoPerform full life cycle systems engineering tasks including system requirements analysis, definition, architecture design, trade studies, integration, verification and validation (IV&V).Work as a team member in the development of new mathematical algorithms for software products.Provide engineering expertise in the area of complex mathematics, design analysis, modeling and simulation, system performance testing.Serve as Technical Leader of small to medium engineering development teamsSome travelQualifications You Must HaveExperience as a Systems Analyst/System Engineer in the Aerospace and Defense industryWorking knowledge of developing system models and simulations, and developing complex algorithmic solutions in a tool such as MATLABThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experienceQualifications We PreferM.S.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
