Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate independent work requiring judgment, initiative, and experience in the application and adaptation of architectural techniques.
- Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines or customer organizations, or projects.
- Provide expertise and guidance in architectural design, and resolve architectural technical, code, regulatory, and safety issues.
- Manage special tasks and provide leadership, training, and consultation to co‑workers.
- Conduct construction document reviews as required.
- Assist in the preparation of task estimates; perform studies and prepare analysis as required.
- Interface with other design/construction disciplines, management, and customers, as necessary.
Qualifications & Education
- Bachelor of Architecture with a minimum of 12 years of professional architectural experience in relevant design/field experience.
- Registered Architect with current state registration. National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) preference.
- Preferred familiarity with MicroStation computer-aided drafting applications.
- Preferred working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to architectural design.
