The successful candidate for this role will be intellectually curious and have a passion for finding answers hidden in data.
They will work closely with both the commercial team and business stakeholders to drive growth and increase profit.Responsibilities include:In collaboration with other junior pricing analysts lead the review, analysis, and pricing inputs for all Formica products in accordance with Formica margin expectationsAnalyze volume, pricing, and margin trends to provide insights to guide the businessWork with business stakeholders to define KPIs and reports for commercial performance measurementMonitor data quality and resolve any issues in collaboration with data ownersCreate pricing analysis and reports that condense complex topics into actionable informationAssess and analyze progress towards organizational volume and profitability goalsDevelop a deep understanding of both commercial and operational processesLead large pricing strategic initiatives and associated modeling to drive profitable growthRequirements include:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics or similar field is required7+ years of experience in a pricing analyst or similar role type.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPointExperience with business intelligence tools, preferably QlikSenseHigh level of analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailsAbility to understand complex problems and propose solutionsAbility to manage and prioritize a demanding workloadSelf-motivated and hard-working individual who is goal orientatedExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with others is requiredStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsAn Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, M/F/D/V.Only qualified individuals (those who meet the fundamental qualifications) will be considered as applicants for this position.
