This role combines deep technical expertise with customer engagement to translate business needs into differentiated technical solutions.If you are a highly technical, customer-focused systems engineer who thrives in complex networking environments and can translate business challenges into impactful solutions, we'd love to speak with you.Key ResponsibilitiesLead pre-sales technical engagements, including solution design, architecture, and positioning of networking and security solutionsPartner closely with sales teams, customers, and ecosystem partners to align technical strategies with business outcomesDeliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements to validate solutionsDevelop and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, building compelling and competitive proposalsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customer technical stakeholders and decision-makersProvide enablement, training, and technical guidance to partners and customer engineering teamsStay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to effectively position solutionsRequired Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 10 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role (Sales Engineer / Systems Engineer)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)Juniper & Networking ExpertiseStrong hands-on experience with Juniper networking solutions across routing, switching, and/or security domainsDeep expertise in enterprise networking, including:Routing & switching (IGPs, BGP, Layer 2/3 VPNs)WAN technologies (MPLS, traffic engineering concepts)Data center networking (EVPN/VXLAN, fabric architectures)Network security principles and solutions (NGFW, IPSec, DDoS protection, etc.)Solution Design & Customer EngagementProven experience designing and consulting on network architectures, including bill of materials and implementation strategiesExperience operating and implementing enterprise-scale campus, branch, and/or data center networksStrong customer-facing experience, including technical presentations, whiteboarding, and executive-level engagementExperience supporting pre-sales cycles including solution positioning, proposal development, and competitive differentiationCore SkillsStrong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skillsAbility to quickly learn new technologies and apply them in customer environmentsDemonstrated ability to influence both technical and business stakeholdersNice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)Experience with Juniper ecosystem tools such as Paragon, Mist, Apstra (or equivalent platforms)Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with automation or scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) in network environmentsFamiliarity with DevOps or infrastructure-as-code concepts (YANG, Netconf, etc.)Experience with emerging technologies such as virtualization, containerization, or NFVIndustry certifications such as JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalentWhat We Can Offer You:Health & WellbeingWe strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.Personal & Professional DevelopmentWe also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.
