Senior Pre-Registration Specialist

To enhance patient experience, the full-time Senior Pre-Registration Specialist will manage the pre-registration process by verifying patient demographics and insurance information, while working remotely to ensure accuracy and efficiency in patient data collection. Key responsibilities Performs pre-registration by contacting patients to verify demographics, insurance, and financial information Utilizes Benefit Collection tools to provide cost estimates and collects out-of-pocket expenses prior to services Documents all interactions with patients and insurance representatives, ensuring compliance with eligibility and pre-authorization requirements Required qualifications 2 years of clerical experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations such as billing, patient accounting, or registration Bilingual skills are strongly preferred, with some positions requiring them An approved equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Experience working in EPIC is preferred
