Senior Practice Support Project ManagerThe Senior Practice Support Project Manager is an integral part of Latham's Practice Support Services team. This role will be responsible for leading a project management team and collaborating with other resources within the firm to assist in all aspects of a litigation matter, while acting as a trusted advisor and primary liaison with case team members with the goal of owning the service delivery relationship and providing project coordination across multiple teams while ensuring an excellent client experience. This role will be located in our New York office.
Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.Responsibilities & QualificationsOther key responsibilities include:Collaborating with eDiscovery Solutions Attorneys to develop and implement best practices for handling clients' electronically stored information (ESI)Understanding client needs and expectations, ensuring requirements are documented, communicated, and incorporated into project plansLiaising with clients' in?house eDiscovery teams to create or support documented best practicesDeveloping comprehensive project plans and timelines for eDiscovery projectsProviding leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project managers and other colleagues with regards to eDiscovery procedures and best practicesProtecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retainsWe'd love to hear from you if you:Possess advanced operational skills and expertise with legal processes, electronic discovery best practices, and the ability to advise case teams accordinglyDemonstrate in?depth knowledge of IT systems architecture, including server systems, email systems, database systems, telecommunications systems, mobile devices, social media, and cloud storage and implications for eDiscoveryExhibit expert?level knowledge of forensics collection methodologies, ESI processing, and document review technologiesAnd have:A bachelor's degreeCertification in project management or eDiscovery practices, such as PMP or CEDS, preferablyA minimum of eight (8) years of experience in electronic discovery consulting and project management, and litigation support, including data processing and document review platformsBenefits & Additional InformationSuccessful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
