Role Overview
Build, improve, and manage PostgreSQL as a fully managed database service for the Relational Database Service (RDS) team at Amazon Web Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers to understand their challenges, solve issues during critical escalations, and teach best practices.
- Act as the voice of the customer to bring learnings to the engineering process, design new features, and plan end-to-end test scenarios.
- Drive feature enhancements, permanently resolve root causes of issues, and improve the performance of the managed database service.
- Serve as the ultimate subject matter expert for all things databases, working with development, support, account, and customer teams.
- Interact with the open‑source community through forums, conferences, and feature or bug‑fix code submissions.
- Extend knowledge to other database engines beyond PostgreSQL.
Basic Qualifications
- DBE experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.

Location & Compensation
Redmond, WA, USA – Salary range: $145,900.00 to $197,400.00 annually.
