Senior Project Manager - Indianapolis - Heavy Civil Construction Metric Geo is confidentially partnered with a household heavy civil contractor to hire an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its team in Indiana. This search is focused on senior-level professionals with a strong background in earthwork, underground utilities, and paving, particularly across INDOT highway and roadway projects.
Oversee the delivery of multiple heavy civil projects from preconstruction through completion. Manage project teams, budgets, schedules, forecasting, and overall profitability. Lead coordination between Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients. Drive project performance, productivity, and cost control across all phases of construction. Ensure projects meet safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
Extensive Project Management experience within heavy civil construction. Strong technical knowledge of earthwork, underground utilities, and paving. Proven experience delivering INDOT or DOT highway and roadway projects. Track record of managing complex projects, leading teams, and driving financial performance. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects.
