This organization supports large scale commercial, healthcare, and government facilities where system performance, safety, and reliability are critical.This role focuses on the commissioning and performance validation of complex plumbing systems across large campuses and mission critical environments including hospitals and military facilities. The position ensures that all domestic water, sanitary, and specialty piping systems operate as designed and meet stringent operational and regulatory standards.BenefitsCompetitive base payYear-end bonusRetirement plan with company matchingLimited travelTeam oriented collaborative growth cultureEssential DutiesPerform commissioning and functional performance testing of large scale plumbing systems across multi building facilitiesWork with large diameter piping systems ranging from 2 inch to 24 inch or greater, including domestic water, sanitary sewer, and storm systemsValidate performance of booster pump systems, recirculation systems, and high capacity water distribution systems serving facilities of 100,000 to 1M+ square feetConduct testing and verification of medical gas systems, vacuum systems, and specialty piping systems in healthcare environmentsPerform flow testing, pressure testing, and system balancing to ensure proper system performance and complianceCollaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams to ensure full system integrationIdentify deficiencies, troubleshoot system issues, and support corrective actions during commissioning and turnoverParticipate in site inspections, startup verification, and integrated systems testingWork within high volume documentation environments including commissioning scripts, reports, and test proceduresRequired experience7+ years of experience in commercial or industrial plumbing systemsExperience working on large scale facilities such as hospitals, government buildings, military bases, or institutional campusesStrong experience with high capacity water systems, pump systems, and large diameter piping networksHands on experience with drain cleaning, system troubleshooting, and complex piping systems (Rotor Rooter or equivalent high volume service experience is a strong plus)Experience with pressure testing, flow validation, and system startupPreferred QualificationsMaster Plumber license OR Mechanical Engineering degreeExperience with commissioning or system performance testingFamiliarity with codes and standards (IPC, UPC, ASPE, NFPA)Experience with medical gas systems and healthcare plumbing systemsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
