We are a large, growing Plumbing and HVAC Mechanical Contractor currently hiring for Plumbing Designer/Engineers. This is a permanent position with a great salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our Engineering and Design teams on current and future plumbing drawings and engineering load calculations
- Review and Design Plumbing systems within drawings provided by Architects and Owners
- Build ISO and Fab Drawings
- Work closely with Engineering, Design and BIM teams
- Design layouts for cold/hot water, hydronic systems, rain water, grey water, and black water treatment systems, storm drains, boilers, gas, and other plumbing and mechanical systems
- Coordinate with other internal teams and external trades in BIM Coordination meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
- EIT or PE License
- LEED AP Certification
- Plumbing Engineering and Design experience
- Advanced knowledge of CA Plumbing Codes and ASPE requirements
- Working experience for Plumbing/HVAC contractor and/or MEP Design Engineer firm
- Large project experience working on Schools, Healthcare-OSHPD, high-rises, hotels, and/or airports
