SENIOR PLM BUSINESS ANALYST II

Based at Rocket Lab’s global headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Teamcenter Admin will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of our PLM system (Siemens Teamcenter) and its integration with CAD/CAM systems. The role involves communicating with developers, vendors, and end users to resolve issues, implement upgrades and customizations, and provide prompt user support.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

• Coordinate cross‑functional engineering teams to monitor user activity, analyze feedback, and direct implementation of critical PLM system improvements and upgrades.
• Develop and architect new Teamcenter client, server, and service customizations; create design models; deploy and test new PLM features.
• Work with users to develop and update tool customizations to improve efficiency.
• Make design improvements to existing PLM processes for continuous space‑vehicle and equipment manufacturing; manage related changes in Siemens NX CAD and related CAD/CAM systems.
• Evaluate Teamcenter and Siemens NX releases, diagnose system failures, and recommend remedial actions.
• Communicate with PLM vendors and Teamcenter administrators; collaborate with internal IT developers and engineers to implement troubleshooting initiatives, upgrades, and customizations.
• Drive continuous improvements for efficient PLM integration across the company’s manufacturing cycle.
• Provide operational support to Teamcenter users, managing access, permissions, and licensing.
• Stay abreast of new versions, features, and modules; communicate new information to the user community.
• Develop workflows, ACLs, data‑model customizations, and solution designs for system integration.
• Manage Teamcenter servers worldwide; handle upgrades and patching of Teamcenter and its integrations.
• Support and deliver training to new and existing engineering staff.
• Create and maintain documentation for PLM user support and proven‑concept‑to‑launch engineering processes.

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience); 12+ years of work experience.
• Experience with Teamcenter 4‑tier and AWC architecture.
• Experience managing Teamcenter Windows servers, scripts, deployment center, and upgrade processes.
• Experience with Teamcenter workflows, ACL, plmxml administration, change processes, user administration, style sheets, AWC build, BMIDE deployments, and other administration tasks.
• Experience configuring Deployment Center.
• Experience with ERP/CAD integration.
• Strong IT skills; comfortable with Windows and PowerShell scripts.
• U.S. citizenship required.

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE

• Teamcenter ITK, Services customization experience.
• Teamcenter certification(s).
• Familiarity with other Teamcenter integrations.

BASE SALARY

$124,500 – $155,000 USD (California only)
