Senior Plant Finance Analyst

Senior Plant Finance AnalystSchneider Electric has an onsite opportunity (5 days a week) for a Senior Plant Finance Analyst in Mount Juliet, TN.

The role requires an on-site, in-plant presence – remote work will be allowed situationally and on an as needed basis, but the expectation of this position is that your on-site in plant presence will be required 5 days per week. In this role, you will support the financial performance and cost discipline of the Mount Juliet manufacturing site, acting as a finance partner to Operations, Engineering, and Site Leadership.

The role focuses on fixed cost control, Capex governance, and plant project controlling, ensuring strong financial transparency and alignment with NAM and Global Supply Chain finance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPlant Cost Control & Fixed Costs Monitor and analyze plant fixed costs and manufacturing overheadsPerform monthly variance analysis vs. budget, forecast, and prior periodsSupport site productivity, headcount, and discretionary spend control initiativesCapex Controlling Support Capex investment governance in line with NAM and Global Supply Chain standardsAssist with ROI and payback analysis for investment requestsTrack Capex spend, commitments, and forecast vs. approved budgetsSupport proper capitalization and fixed asset accountingParticipate in post-investment and performance reviewsPlant Project Controlling Provide financial controlling for ETO projects from launch through close-outMonitor project costs, forecasts, and deviations, highlighting risks and opportunitiesPartner with Engineering, Industrialization, and Operations to challenge assumptions and improve financial disciplineSupport project financial closure and documentationParticipate in project review meetings, providing financial insight and performance commentaryForecasting, Budgeting & Performance Support quarterly forecast, and rolling estimate cyclesPrepare plant financial reports, KPIs, and dashboardsParticipate in monthly plant performance and project reviewsClosing, Controls & Compliance Support month-end close activities, including accruals, allocations, and variance explanationsAssist with inventory counts, fixed asset reviews, and auditsEnsure compliance with internal controls and NAM finance policiesContinuous Improvement Drive efficiency through process standardization, automation, and reporting improvementsLeverage SAP, Excel, and Power BI to improve financial visibility and insightQualification RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; 2+ years of finance or cost controlling experience in a manufacturing environment; working knowledge of cost accounting, fixed costs, Capex, and project financials; strong Excel skills; SAP experience preferred.Key BehaviorsStrong business-partner mindset; analytical and detail-oriented; comfortable challenging results constructively.For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
