A large part of our platform runs on PHP: services that turn a search into a ticket, and the internal tools our operations team uses all day. You'll keep it fast and reliable, and modernize it piece by piece without stopping the line.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain the PHP services behind booking, ticketing and post-sale operations.
- Improve performance and reliability on a system that handles real money around the clock.
- Refactor legacy corners into something you would be happy to inherit.
- Work with the rest of engineering on shared architecture, reviews and standards.
- Ship, measure, iterate. Releases here are frequent and small.
What we look for
- Solid production experience building and running PHP backends at scale.
- A pragmatic approach: you choose boring technology when boring wins.
- Comfort owning services end to end, from design to on-call reality.
- Clear written communication. We are remote and async by default.
- Travel or payments experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
