Sr. Payroll ProcessorWe are looking for an experienced Sr. Payroll Processor with expertise in prevailing wages to join our growing nonprofit organization.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of payroll systems Workday and UKG. This position will also involve providing guidance to departmental and executive personnel regarding wage and labor compliance issues.Schedule: Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PMSalary Range: $30-$33 Depending on Relevant ExperienceResponsibilitiesPrepare and review reports filed with EDD, IRS and other governmental entities related to payrollAdminister worker's compensation including calculating annual amount for agencies budget, perform mid-year analysis and coordinate the annual audit with the insurance company auditorsCalculate and process payroll for employees in accordance with prevailing wagesMaintain detailed records and ensure appropriate filing for each employeeResearch, interpret, and apply compliance with federal, state, and local wage lawsManage compliance/responses for wage probes, audits, and surveysHandle and resolve employee inquiries relating to payroll and prevailing wagesMaintain effective communication and relationships with all stakeholders, including department heads, executive management, and outside payroll firmsDesired QualificationsBachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldUse of Workday and UKG PreferredKnowledge of federal, state, and local wage laws, and be able to properly calculate and process payroll.5+ years' experience working in payroll/accountingStrong mathematical abilitiesAttention to detail
