Senior Payroll Manager

Robert Half is seeking a REMOTE Senior Payroll Manager with a growing client in Tampa Bay, FL!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient execution of all payroll activities.
• Manage complex payroll escalations, resolving discrepancies and addressing employee and management concerns.
• Develop, implement, and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and standard operating processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Oversee payroll systems and technology, ensuring data integrity, system functionality, and process optimization.
• Support internal and external payroll audits, ensuring accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and timely resolution of findings.
• Lead, coach, and develop payroll staff through ongoing training, performance management, and professional development.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of payroll management experience overseeing complex, high-volume payroll operations.
• Prior payroll experience within a multi-location healthcare organization is required.
• Strong experience working with large-scale ERP and payroll systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and develop payroll teams.
• Experience building, restructuring, or improving payroll departments and processes is a plus.
