Is responsible for the weekly benefits reports and unemployment annual updates pertaining to payroll records. Responsible for verifying union class and rate are current in eCMS prior to processing. Timesheets are entered daily with project information and class to generate appropriate calculation of union pay and associated union fringes.
Utilizes Excel time import application for large projects that require automation. Processes weekly check runs for various companies and distribution companies. Ensures payroll is processed timely every week and help to get checks distributed. Assists with weekly certified payroll reports. Processes child support garnishment check requisitions. Available to provide payoff check information on assigned evenings, weekends, and/or holidays according to staffing requirements. Maintains unemployment rates in eCMS on an annual basis and as needed.
Responsible for transmitting unemployment information to unemployment company weekly. Remits weekly union fringe reports for unions. Enter Termination Reports weekly. Perform eStamp balancing weekly. Be able to perform the Payroll Associate role. Ensure VOE's are completed along with unemployment audits.Qualifications: Bachelors' degree or equivalent from four-year college or university AND 2 years of general ledger work experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
