This position will be responsible for entering and processing payroll for over 1,000 US employees both exempt and non-exempt. They will record items in the general ledger, reconcile payroll accounts monthly and assist the Finance and Human Resources teams with ad hoc projects as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess multi-state bi-weekly payrolls using ADPCommunicate with ADP on any payroll issuesPrepare manual off-cycle paymentsEnter general ledgers and reconcile payroll journal entries in WorkdayManage miscellaneous items for payrolls, including fringe benefits and deductionsMaintain employee 401k electionsReconcile monthly bank statementsRespond to employee payroll related questions and issuesAssist with payroll and corporate annual auditsAssist with payroll related projects for HR and finance teamsPerform ad hoc tasks as requiredGeneral Qualifications5-8 years of payroll experienceExperience with ADP, preferably WorkForce NowExperience with WorkdayProficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word)Ability to operate in a complex, fast paced, multi-business unit environmentStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to interact with outside parties and personnel across all levels of the firmA forward-thinking, organized individualA team player who is eager to learn and work with others in a dynamic environmentSelf-motivated individual that is able to take initiativeAbility to prioritize responsibilities and work under deadlinesMeticulous attention to detail with a focus on high quality outputCapacity to discretely handle highly confidential and sensitive informationRequired EducationBachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance or AccountingCompensation: Expected Annual Base Salary $70,000 – 80,000. Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location.
In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance.
