Overview of the Senior Payroll Analyst role:
- Performing weekly accumulation and review of employee timesheets for payroll
- Working with supervisors to ensure accuracy of timesheets and compliance with company policies
- Partnering with external vendors to complete payroll processing bi-weekly and respond to payroll inquiries and requests by employees and other internal and external users of payroll data
- Researching and troubleshooting payroll discrepancies, and resolving any payroll-related issues.
- Serves as a liaison between Finance and Human Resources regarding payroll, paid time off, and various other policies and procedures.
- Prepares and maintains account reconciliations as part of the monthly closing process. Ensures that federal and state payroll reports (monthly, quarterly and annually) are filed in a timely manner and accurately.
Preferred Qualifications of Senior Payroll Analyst:
- High volume payroll processing and reporting experience
- SAP HCM/SAP ECP, ADP or UKG
- Multistate, hourly payroll and union
Compensation range: $70,000-95,000
