Performing a range of registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and billing duties, the full-time Senior Patient Access Representative will support both inpatient and outpatient access to medical services while working remotely on a schedule that includes weekends and holidays. Key responsibilities Conduct admissions, registration, and scheduling activities, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information is entered into the system Verify patient insurance coverage, obtain necessary authorizations, and inform patients about financial assistance options Assist in training new employees and follow up on open self-pay accounts for collection purposes Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required 3-5 years of relevant experience in patient access services
