Senior ParalegalWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Paralegal with expertise in employment law to join our team in the financial services industry. This role will be responsible for managing employment-related matters, supporting litigation and investigations, and developing processes that strengthen the Employment Legal team's ability to support business partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and format legal documents, correspondence, and presentationsManage employment intakes, conduct initial review of documentation, and prepare initial responsesMaintain organized case files and records within Google DriveSchedule meetings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedingsAssist with invoice management from outside counsel and vendorsSupport development and implementation of employment legal processes to improve efficiencyLitigation ManagementManage case files for litigation, arbitrations, agency charges, and internal investigationsTrack deadlines, statutes of limitations, and maintain accurate calendarsCoordinate discovery responses, including collection, review, and production of documentsAssist in preparation of pleadings, motions, briefs, and filingsLiaise with outside counsel to ensure efficient information flow and compliance with policiesCompliance & InvestigationsSupport internal investigations by organizing documentation and scheduling interviewsAssist with compliance initiatives related to employment laws and regulationsHelp develop and maintain training materials and resources for HR and management teamsProject ManagementDevelop and manage project plans for key initiatives, including stakeholder engagement and resource trackingIdentify gaps and resolve blockers to maintain project momentumFacilitate communication with stakeholders across departmentsConduct retrospectives and document lessons learned from projectsRequired Qualifications5-7 years of in-house employment paralegal or case management experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Proficiency with Google Drive / G-SuiteExperience with case management and eDiscovery tools (e.g., Exterro)Experience with billing and invoice management systemsEducation and/or ExperienceAll education levels considered, provided candidate meets experience requirementsNice to HaveStrong background in litigation holds, discovery management, and document productionData tracking and analytics experience for litigation and employment mattersDemonstrated project management skills and cross-functional collaborationExcellent organizational abilities and ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationshipsAdditional DetailsLocation: San Jose, CA (Hybrid 3 days in office)Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am 5:00 pmInterview Process: One-on-one interview, followed by a panel interview with team membersJoin our team to make an impact by building efficient processes, supporting complex employment matters, and serving as a trusted partner across the organization.
