ServiceNow Asset Management DeveloperWe are looking for a ServiceNow Asset Management Developer to join our ITSM team and take ownership of implementing and managing IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow modules, especially within IT Asset Management, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the organization's asset lifecycle processes.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain solutions within the ServiceNow Asset Management moduleConfigure and customize ServiceNow Asset and Configuration Management (CMDB) to support business needsAutomate asset lifecycle processes (procurement, deployment, maintenance, retirement)Integrate ServiceNow with external tools (e.g., SCCM, JAMF, SNOW, Intune) for discovery and reconciliationImplement workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies, and integrationsMaintain data integrity across ITAM/CMDB using reconciliation rules, normalization, and compliance checksGenerate reports and dashboards related to asset utilization, compliance, and lifecycle stagesEnsure compliance with software licensing and hardware policiesCollaborate with procurement, finance, and IT operations teams to align asset tracking with business needsRequired Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field4+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with 2+ years in IT Asset ManagementDeep understanding of ServiceNow ITAM and CMDB data modelsExperience with scripting in ServiceNow (JavaScript, Glide API)Strong understanding of ITIL principles and Asset Lifecycle ManagementFamiliarity with Discovery, Service Mapping, and integration with 3rd-party toolsExcellent analytical, communication, and documentation skillsPreferred Qualifications:ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITAM or equivalent certificationExperience with SAM Pro (Software Asset Management Professional) moduleKnowledge of HAM (Hardware Asset Management), HAM ProFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, ConfluenceExperience with governance and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, SOC2)
