Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Developer with more than 10 years of experience to work onsite in Newark, Delaware. The candidate will design, develop, optimize, and support database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL, with strong responsibility for performance, data quality, and reliable delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Analyze database performance issues and perform query, index, and execution-plan tuning.
• Create and review logical and physical data models using sound normalization practices.
• Troubleshoot production database issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.
• Review database code and ensure adherence to coding, security, and performance standards.
• Collaborate with application, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver database solutions.
• Support release and deployment activities using Git, Bitbucket, or comparable CI frameworks.
• Communicate clearly in writing and in meetings, while demonstrating ownership and responsibility for assigned deliverables.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 a year
