With offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MRSH).A day in the life.As our Senior Operations Specialist on the McGriff Corporate Operations - Certificate of Insurance team, you will serve as a subject matter expert for the client-facing Certificates of Insurance (COI) process and support the successful execution of offshore operations for this function. You will play a key role in ensuring the COI process is transitioned and executed accurately, consistently, and efficiently by offshore teams. You will provide day-to-day support and guidance on COI-related activities, including reviewing certificate requests, answering process and coverage questions, supporting implementation efforts, assisting with training and knowledge transfer, and helping maintain service quality and process adherence.The ideal candidate brings strong Property & Casualty insurance knowledge, hands-on experience with complex Certificates of Insurance, and the ability to read contracts, interpret insurance requirements, and support others through operational and process-related questions.In this role, you will:Serve as a subject matter expert for the Certificates of Insurance process and related operational activitiesSupport onshore and offshore teams with COI questions, issue resolution, and process guidanceReview certificate requests and help ensure accurate handling of coverage requirements and certificate issuanceRead and interpret contracts, insurance requirements, and policy language to support compliant COI processingAssist with implementation activities, transition support, and project work related to the offshore COI functionSupport setup, go-live, and stabilization efforts for transitioned COI workAssist with developing, maintaining, and updating SOPs, job aids, desk procedures, and knowledge articles for COI processesAssist in delivering training and knowledge transfer sessions for offshore and onshore team membersProvide ongoing coaching and support to help ensure process consistency, service quality, and operational readinessHelp identify process gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities within COI workflowsPartner with leadership on standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with teammates, servicing teams, and third-party vendors to support client service and operational excellenceHelp monitor adherence to established processes, service expectations, and quality standardsOur future colleague.We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:College Degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experienceProperty & Casualty Insurance LicenseFive years of experience within the insurance industryExperience handling Complex Certificates of InsuranceAbility to read contracts and insurance policiesHighly effective written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to act with responsiveness, urgency and professionalism in all matters while prioritizing responsibilities and proactively accomplishing goalsDemonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software productsAbility to work without direct supervisionThese additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:Knowledge of insurance specific systems and applicationsWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
