Senior Operations, Dispatch TransportationThis role coordinates shipments according to customer instructions (SOP's), and ensures compliance to DOT regulations and established internal policies and guidelines. Will also be responsible for providing solutions in resolving transportation issues and inquiries. Duties and responsibilities include executing ocean marine drayage services for FCL movements, ensuring timely and full completion of delivery and pick up services, selecting and dispatching pick-up and delivery orders to truckers, managing chassis pool operations, reviewing and developing solutions for service failures, streamlining proactive container tracking communications, prioritizing time sensitive cargo, negotiating pricing to maximize profits, ensuring proper reporting and compliance with DOT regulations.Educational background and work experience required include 3 - 5 years in logistics and customer service environment, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, good understanding of ocean export/import operations, experience in trucking carrier deliveries/recovery process, and terminal port/CY requirements.

Skills and competencies include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, fluent in English, and computer literacy.
