The candidate will be required to be onsite 3-4 days per week.Hardware and datacenter monitoring specialist to provide backup assistance to the current datacenter monitoring team. Specialist will provide assistance with implementation of future upgrades and assist with daily monitoring, hardware upgrades and equipment management statewide particularly within the NCDOT datacenters in Raleigh and Forest City.Required SkillsInstallation/removal & cabling of devices – NetApp Storage, Cisco UCS, Switches, etc.Infrastructure knowledge – HVAC, Power - UPS, Generator, ATS Switch, etc.Windows Server background with KVM, RDP, and basic networking experience.Monitoring software and camera systems including SCOM, Q1Radar, McAfee, and Basic AD/DHCP knowledge.PCI compliance knowledge.Familiarity with fire suppression equipment.On-call 3 week rotation – 24/7 for DC - ability to work emergencies.
