Job TitleCustomer & Stakeholder LeadershipServe as first and primary customer contact for assigned projectsLead customer engagement, negotiations, and issue resolution to ensure successful project outcomesManage and align multiple internal and external stakeholders including customers, partners, contractors, and vendors to achieve project targets and deliverablesInfluence peers and stakeholders to adopt alternative perspectives or solutions when required for problem solvingProject Execution & GovernanceOwn end-to-end execution of mega, complex, non-turnkey, and product / equipment-only projects along with less complex combined cycle projects.Develop early execution strategies in partnership with the ITO Commercial Manager and ensure successful transition into project executionCoordinate contract reviews to ensure full alignment on requirements, scope, and obligationsManage project execution with an SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) lens and provide the framework for self and others to engage at Gemba.Financial and Performance OwnershipFull P&L accountability, including Revenue, Contribution Margin, and CashDrive ownership and accountability for key project performance metricsAlign teams when trade-offs arise between cost, schedule, performance, and risk. Develops and manages the risk register with mitigation actionRisk, EHS & CompliancePromote and drive GEV's Safety Toolkit on project teams, partners, and subcontractors, placing health and safety above all other priorities, even under pressure. Develop, own, and actively manage the Risk & Opportunity Register, including mitigation actionsUtilize multiple internal and external inputs to support sound, risk-based decision makingTechnical, Functional & Thought LeadershipDevelop deep expertise within project execution and/or technical discipline, serving as a subject matter expert where applicableInterpret internal and external business challenges and drive best practices to improve products, processes, or servicesOperational & Manufacturing Problem SolvingLead teams to develop creative solutions within complex manufacturing, engineering, or production environmentsEmploy advanced operational, engineering, and product management techniques across interdependent workstreamsCollaborate closely with partnering functions to resolve cross-functional issues and execution constraintsTeam Leadership & Matrix ManagementProvide direct or indirect leadership of project teams and resources with moderate to high complexity, risk, and scaleSupport Functional Project Managers with escalations across functions, customers, and partnersPresent project, business, or technical solutions to internal and external senior leadership teamsInfluence without authority in a matrix organization to drive unified executionBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or universityMinimum 6 years of Project Management experience within Energy, Construction, or large capital project environmentsMust be willing to travel up to 40% of time.Desired CharacteristicsExperience and demonstrated understanding of large capital project execution costs and estimates.Certified Project Management ProfessionalGraduate of the Field Engineer or Project Management Leadership ProgramDemonstrated ability to manage multiple phased projects simultaneously and independently.Demonstrated strong customer focus and the ability to foster strong relationships; Experience working with and influencing senior level leaders. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
