Senior Network/Systems EngineerAmentum/Secure Networking Solutions is seeking a Wireless Intrusion Detection Specialist (WIDS)-III responsible for managing up to 20 personnel overseeing the program's Monitoring and Response (M&R).Essential Responsibilities:Design and deploy functional servers on Linux and Windows operating systems.Maintain system compliance with cyber security standards and practicesMonitor system performance and integrity.Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery, etc.)Consolidate Monthly Reports, including Contract Status Reports, Program Management Reviews, and other Contract Deliverables in coordination with PM.Conduct High-Level overviews with government COR and CO.Communicate with users when needed.Maintain complete technical documentation.Suggest improvements to performance, capacity and scalability.Install systems in CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations as directed by project PM.Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):Background and experience in Bastille WIDS administrative functions, metrics, and active M&R.Experience with wireless monitoring equipment to identify unauthorized signals and make recommended mitigations and response.Experience working with the IC and DoD elements and supporting contractor base.Experience in coordinating, collaborating, and deconflicting issues with IC partners.Experience in writing operating procedures and reporting templates to ensure best practices are being implemented across the sections in accordance with national and DoD requirements.Comprehensive knowledge of National and DoD directives, orders, regulations, and instructions governing the conduct of WIDS activities.Comprehensive knowledge of wireless protocols and Radio Frequency (RF) theory.Experience with mobile wireless direction-finding equipment and signal detection, identification, and reporting.Ability to travel worldwide.Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI with PolyMinimum Education: Bachelors Degree in relevant area, such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other computer or information technology-related field.Minimum Years of Experience: (5 years with Bachelors; 3-5 years with Masters, 1-2 years with PhD).Required Certifications:Preferred Qualifications:This position (is not) designated as a safety sensitive position.As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, Amentum is a drug-free workplace and requires all personnel to comply with company drug and alcohol policies as a condition of employment.
