Senior Network Security Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Network Security professional with over 10 years of experience to design, implement, manage, and enhance enterprise-level network security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in security architecture, threat mitigation, and advanced network defense technologies.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Firewalls: Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FTD, Fortinet, Check Point.
- IDS/IPS & SIEM tools: Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight
- VPN Technologies: IPsec, SSL VPN
- Web Security: WAF, Secure Web Gateways
- Networking Concepts: TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching
- Threat intelligence and security monitoring
- Cloud security (Azure/AWS/GCP)
Expertise In
- Network segmentation & Zero Trust architecture.
- Threat intelligence and security monitoring
- Cloud security (Azure/AWS/GCP)
Familiarity With
- Scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
Preferred Certifications
- ISSP / CISM / CISA
- CCNP Security / CCIE Security
- PCNSE / Fortinet NSE
Good To Have
- Experience with SOC operations
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
- Exposure to EDR/XDR technologies
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security architectures for enterprise environments.
- Manage and maintain firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAF, and proxy solutions.
- Perform security assessments, risk analysis, and vulnerability management.
- Monitor network traffic and investigate security incidents and breaches.
- Lead incident response and forensic analysis activities.
- Implement and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure cloud and on-prem environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR (if applicable).
- Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing coordination.
- Stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
Salary Range
$100,000-$140,000 a year
