Senior Network EngineerThe Senior Network Engineer will perform all activities related to supporting DoD OIG's capability to provide a reliable, scalable, and secure high-speed Data Network infrastructure and operating an efficient, effective, and secure network infrastructure.Recommend WAN/LAN/Virtual/VPN/requirements based on business needs and industry best practices.Recommend Data Network capacity thresholds.Provide capacity and performance reports as required.Provision, and maintain all Data Network components as agreed to by the Parties.Maintain all Data Network components in accordance with vendor maintenance agreements and current DoD OIG-provided security policies.Report performance against Service Level Requirements.Develop and provide high-level and detailed network design artifacts.Prepare Data Network design, engineering, and security, plans and schedules to support new and enhanced Applications, architectures, and standards.Develop testing and integration procedures for Data Network design, engineering and security that meet requirements and adhere to defined policies.Coordinate with the DoD OIG's Service Recipients, and public carriers, as required.
