Senior Network EngineerBaylor University seeks an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join its centralized IT Network Services Group. This role is responsible for designing, engineering, and maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performance network services across all major campus environments—including faculty/staff, residential, Wi-Fi, OT/IoT, research, and datacenter networks spanning physical, virtual, and cloud components.Candidates must demonstrate deep knowledge of complex enterprise network operations, strong analytical and architectural skills, and excellent communication abilities. This position requires managing multiple concurrent projects with tight timelines, independently evaluating emerging technologies, and architecting new solutions to advance the university's network infrastructure.
The Senior Network Engineer will also mentor Network Administrators by providing technical guidance and modeling best practices.A Bachelors degree and 6 years of experience are required. A Master's degree and 10 years of experience is preferred.
