Senior Network EngineerOdyssey Systems is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support advanced situational awareness and multi-domain operations (MDO) programs. This role focuses on the design, analysis, and integration of RF and signal processing systems that enable next-generation battlefield awareness, electronic warfare, and spectrum management capabilities.You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, analysts, and operators to design and deliver systems that integrate data from diverse sensors, communications, and radar systems to provide actionable intelligence and operational advantage. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in RF, signal processing, and spectrum management, along with experience contributing to mission-critical DoD programs in multi-domain environments.This is a full time position located at MacDill AFB, FL or Ft.

Belvoir, VA.***Contingent upon contract award***ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to:Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-class network architectures across data centers, cloud environments, and remote sites.Lead complex network engineering projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.Develop and enforce network standards, best practices, and configuration baselines.Troubleshoot advanced network issues and provide Tier-III escalation support.Optimize network performance through capacity planning, traffic analysis, and proactive monitoring.Implement and manage routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching technologies, and WAN architectures.Ensure network security through segmentation, firewall policies, access controls, and compliance frameworks.Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support business initiatives.Mentor and guide junior network engineers, providing technical oversight and knowledge sharing.Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.***Contingent upon contract award***QualificationsCitizenship: Must be a US citizenMinimum Required QualificationsClearance: Active Secret (ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly required)Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or network operationsExpert-level knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and network protocolsStrong experience with enterprise networking platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent)Proficiency with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRPExperience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security technologiesFamiliarity with network monitoring and analysis tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, or NetFlowAbility to diagnose and resolve complex network issues in large-scale environmentsStrong communication, documentation, and leadership skillsAbility to mentor and guide junior network engineersPreferred QualificationsEducation: Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical disciplineCertifications: Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalentTechnical SkillsExperience with SDN, network automation, and scripting (Python, Ansible)Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architecturesExperience with MPLS, Segment Routing, or advanced WAN technologiesFamiliarity with Zero Trust architectures and modern security frameworksBackground in designing highly available, large-scale, or multi-site network environmentsExperience leading technical teams or serving as a project technical leadLocation: Tampa, FL or Fort Belvoir, VATravel: As needed***Contingent upon contract award***Company OverviewOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
