Senior Network Engineer (Level 3)We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) deployments using Cisco DNAC, with a strong command over wired and wireless infrastructure design, configuration, and troubleshooting. You will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and support of complex network infrastructure initiatives and guide junior engineers as a technical leader.Key Responsibilities:Lead the deployment and management of Cisco SDA (wired and wireless) using Cisco DNAC, ensuring best practices are followed.Plan, design, and implement wireless networks in coordination with vendors, project managers, and engineering teams.Configure and troubleshoot complex WAN, LAN, and wireless environments, including performance tuning and quality assurance.Validate RF performance and reliability and optimize wireless coverage and signal integrity.Mentor and train in-house engineers on wireless technologies and act as a technical advisor to non-technical stakeholders.Configure and manage routing protocols such as BGP, IS-IS, and OSPF, along with VxLAN and LISP technologies.Implement and troubleshoot LAN technologies, including QoS, IEEE 802.1X authentication, and related access controls.Work with firewalls (Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco ASA) to ensure secure network boundaries.Support and configure Load Balancers (LTM/GTM) and SSL infrastructure components (RADIUS, AAA, CA).Apply advanced debug analysis and problem-solving techniques to resolve critical issues.Maintain detailed network documentation, create Method of Procedures (MOPs), and manage site cutovers with end-to-end ownership.Participate in operational activities, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.Create and update technical manuals and SOPs for ongoing network operations.Required Skills & Qualifications:8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking.Expert-level proficiency in deploying and managing Cisco SDA with DNAC.Strong experience with wireless networking technologies and RF performance validation.Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and L2/L3 network troubleshooting.Practical experience with LAN security, QoS, 802.1X, and network access control.Familiarity with network security appliances including firewalls and load balancers.Knowledge of SSL/TLS, Radius/AAA, and certificate-based authentication systems.Strong documentation and communication skills with the ability to create clear and concise technical documents.Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, conduct cutovers, and manage network migrations.Nice to Have:Experience in network automation using Ansible or Python.Exposure to CI/CD practices or infrastructure-as-code in networking contexts.Certifications (Preferred):Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalentCisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise SD-Access ImplementationOther vendor certifications (Palo Alto, Juniper, F5) are a plusWhy Join Us?Opportunity to work on cutting-edge enterprise network transformations.Be part of a skilled team driving innovation in networking and automation.Competitive compensation and benefits.Culture of mentorship, collaboration, and continuous learning.
