Senior Network EngineerGTSC and its Global Sciences and Technology (GST) business unit seeks an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and support enterprise network infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead network initiatives from planning through execution. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SonicWall firewalls and Cisco switches in complex, production environments.

This position has been approved for a hybrid work schedule but will work onsite at our Fairmont, WV office.Primary Duties:Design, implement, and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable network infrastructureConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot SonicWall firewalls, including VPNs, security policies, and threat managementInstall, configure, and support Cisco switches, including VLANs, routing, QoS, and switch stackingMonitor network performance, availability, and security, proactively addressing issuesLead network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projectsTroubleshoot complex network issues across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environmentsCollaborate with systems, security, and application teams to ensure network alignment with business needsCreate and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating proceduresMentor junior engineers and provide technical leadershipEnsure compliance with security standards and best practicesParticipate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as neededRequired Education/Experience/Skills:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field of study7 or more years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise environmentsProven experience with SonicWall firewalls (configuration, management, and troubleshooting)Strong experience with Cisco switches (Catalyst, Nexus, or similar)In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP preferred), and VPN technologiesExperience with network monitoring and diagnostic toolsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsBenefits:We celebrate your contributions we will provide you with opportunities and choices and support your total well-being.
