Senior Network Engineer (Cisco & Aruba)Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract (Long-Term)We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco and Aruba technologies to support a large-scale network refresh initiative. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in enterprise network environments, including routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support network refresh and upgrade projects across enterprise environmentsDesign, configure, implement, and troubleshoot Cisco-based network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls)Deploy and manage Aruba wireless solutions, including access points and controllersPerform network assessments, migrations, and optimization activitiesTroubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutionWork closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders for project executionEnsure network security, performance, and reliability best practices are followedMaintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and configurationsRequired Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environmentsStrong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (routing, switching, LAN/WAN)Experience with Aruba wireless networking (Client, controllers, Aruba Central)Proven experience in network refresh/upgrade projectsSolid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, etc.)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesPreferred QualificationsCisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or higher)Experience with network monitoring tools and automationExposure to cloud networking (AWS/Azure) is a plusKnowledge of network security concepts
