Job Summary
Seeking a Mid‑Level Numerical Control (NC) Programmer to support machining and tooling operations in Huntington Beach, CA. This role is responsible for developing NC programs using blueprints, solid models, and sketches with Unigraphics NX CAD/CAM software, while ensuring first‑time quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Create NC programs using UG NX CAD/CAM software
- Develop, revise, and verify Machine Control Data (MCD)
- Design and program associated fixtures and tooling
- Coordinate cutting tool availability
- Provide operator instructions and documentation for CNC equipment
- Support cross‑functional teams with research, data collection, and producibility planning
- Work closely with machine shop personnel to ensure quality acceptance
- Regular and predictable attendance required
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of current NC programming experience using UG NX
- Some experience with Vericut
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of UG NX NC programming experience
- 5+ years of Vericut experience
- Extensive machinist background
Education & Experience
- Associate degree with 3+ years related experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year related experience, or
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
