Senior MRI Technologist – Providence Seaside Hospital (Per Diem/Day Shift)

Perform Magnetic Resonance imaging examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment while taking into account individual patient needs, including age‑related or special conditions. Use knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, technique, and patient care to produce optimal images.

Responsibilities

• Execute MRI examinations with precision and safety. • Adjust imaging parameters to meet patient needs. • Maintain patient comfort and clear communication. • Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. • Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• Education meeting certification, license, or registration requirements.
• Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist – Magnetic Resonance Imaging (or equivalent) upon hire.
• National Certified MRI Technologist – American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• Five (5) years of experience as an MRI Technologist.

Pay Range

Base pay: $46.29 – $71.85 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
