What Youll Do

Senior Model Based System Engineer will support Modeling and Simulation and systems engineering activities Responsibilities include but are not limited to Documenting the as is architecture and execution environment for existing projects with tools CameoMagicDrawDecomposing user new requirements into system and software level requirements to specify system and software functionalityUnderstanding interoperability standards specifications and protocols to develop and document interfaces between selected system level componentsDeveloping test plans and procedures intended to verify the implementation of system requirements in both in house developed and COTSGOTS components and the overall systemDocumenting two way traceability between requirements and test procedures both to ensure test coverage of all requirements and to correlate issues discovered during testing to requirements that are not satisfied within the system under testSupporting test execution tracking test results and documenting issues discovered within the system under testCommunicate effectively with team members and clearly present technical approaches and findings in teleconferences and meetingsAbility to work in a dynamic and continually changing group settingMinimal travel required

Required Qualifications

BSBA in Systems Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science Mathematics Physics or related technical field and 7 12 years of professional experience or MSMA in Systems Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science Mathematics or related technical field and 5 years of professional experienceExperience working with tools like Cameo and MagicDraw or similarExperience working within Windows and LinuxUnix computer environment with Office and SharePoint repositoriesExperience specifying requirements andor developing and executing testing of computer based software systems US CitizenActive Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications

Experience with or exposure to US Army models and simulationsExperience with or exposure to requirements management processes and practical application of those processes to real development projects
