- Implement session tracking, adherence calculations, secure data handling, data exports, and easy‑to‑understand progress views using established Figma designs.
- Collaborate with design, product, hardware, and firmware partners to define, test, and troubleshoot the application interface and device‑data protocol.
- Establish automated and manual testing for connection interruptions, synchronization failures, application‑state recovery, security, privacy, and other connected‑device scenarios.
- Manage mobile builds and applicable app‑store submissions while creating clear requirements, architecture, testing, and development documentation to support future regulated‑development activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of five years of professional software‑development experience, including end‑to‑end ownership of mobile applications that have been successfully released / shipped.
- Strong hands‑on experience building and releasing mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, native iOS/Swift, or native Android/Kotlin.
- Hands‑on experience integrating mobile applications with Bluetooth Low Energy peripherals, including GATT communication, pairing, reconnection, and synchronization of live and stored data.
- Professional experience in healthcare, digital health, connected health, medical technology, or another environment involving sensitive health‑related information.
- Experience working from Figma designs and implementing secure data management, application testing, debugging, release builds, and app‑store submission processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a startup environment, communicate effectively across technical and nontechnical teams, and deliver production‑quality software within a defined timeline; familiarity with HIPAA considerations, IEC 62304, design controls, or regulated software documentation is a plus.
