Overview
Senior MEP Manager - Pharma. This role leads and mentors the MEP teams on multiple projects, working with Project Managers and Project Executives to help define regional and project-specific needs in all areas of MEP. The role sits primarily on the job site, with occasional travel to the office for trainings and meetings.

Responsibilities
- Protects Gilbane and the owner from cost, quality, and schedule impacts
- Coordinates with Project Managers and MEP staff to understand project needs and how to best assist each project
- Oversees and assumes accountability for MEP-GMP preparation
- Assists with the development and implementation of the Project Execution Plan
- Manages the MEP documentation review process, Value Engineering, and constructability with MEP field staff
- Assumes overall responsibility for buyout, installation, and testing of control systems on multiple projects
- Establishes long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
- Leads the MEP discipline and staff on simultaneous complex projects
- Identifies staffing needs and assesses staff skill levels
- Provides leadership in peer group activities and career development for team members
- Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage the team
- Interprets organizational strategy and ensures the team understands their role in achieving goals
- Collaborates with business development to align with sales strategies and client deliverables
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 15+ years of related field experience
- Previous pharmaceutical manufacturing facility construction experience is highly desirable
- Experience in a supervisory role on a large project
- OSHA 30 hour certified
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to troubleshoot MEP systems
- Strong scheduling skills with proficiency in scheduling software
- Strong risk management skills
- Ability to manage the quality assurance process for all MEP work
- Ability to foster a safety-first culture and maintain incident- and injury-free work environment
Salary to be determined based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience, along with internal equity and team alignment.
The pay ranges from $160,900-$269,280 plus benefits and retirement program.
