Senior MEP Manager - Pharma. This role leads and mentors the MEP teams on multiple projects, working with Project Managers and Project Executives to help define regional and project-specific needs in all areas of MEP. The role sits primarily on the job site, with occasional travel to the office for trainings and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Protects Gilbane and the owner from cost, quality, and schedule impacts
• Coordinates with Project Managers and MEP staff to understand project needs and how to best assist each project
• Oversees and assumes accountability for MEP-GMP preparation
• Assists with the development and implementation of the Project Execution Plan
• Manages the MEP documentation review process, Value Engineering, and constructability with MEP field staff
• Assumes overall responsibility for buyout, installation, and testing of control systems on multiple projects
• Establishes long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
• Leads the MEP discipline and staff on simultaneous complex projects
• Identifies staffing needs and assesses staff skill levels
• Provides leadership in peer group activities and career development for team members
• Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage the team
• Interprets organizational strategy and ensures the team understands their role in achieving goals
• Collaborates with business development to align with sales strategies and client deliverables

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years of related field experience
• Previous pharmaceutical manufacturing facility construction experience is highly desirable
• Experience in a supervisory role on a large project
• OSHA 30 hour certified
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Ability to troubleshoot MEP systems
• Strong scheduling skills with proficiency in scheduling software
• Strong risk management skills
• Ability to manage the quality assurance process for all MEP work
• Ability to foster a safety-first culture and maintain incident- and injury-free work environment

Salary to be determined based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience, along with internal equity and team alignment.

The pay ranges from $160,900-$269,280 plus benefits and retirement program.
