Senior Mechanical / HVAC Engineer – Manhattan, NYC (Hybrid Remote)
A well-established MEP consulting firm in Manhattan is seeking a Senior Mechanical / HVAC Engineer to lead and deliver complex building systems for high-profile projects across New York City.
What You’ll Do
- Lead HVAC system design for commercial, residential, institutional, and mixed-use projects
- Develop construction documents, calculations, and technical specifications
- Oversee junior engineers and provide technical mentorship
- Coordinate with architects, owners, and other engineering disciplines
- Participate in client meetings and support construction administration
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of mechanical/HVAC engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of NYC codes, energy codes, and permitting processes
- Experience with HVAC load calculations, system selection, and equipment sizing
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- PE license preferred (or actively pursuing)
